Welcome to my wargaming blog about Craftees!

Hello and welcome to my wargaming blog. Although I have many interests in wargaming, this blog will focus on Craftees. What the heck are Craftees you ask? Craftees are homemade wargaming miniatures created using wooden spools, caps, plugs, and shapes that you can easily find at most craft and hardware stores. Not only are these bits inexpensive, but you can create pretty much any figure needed for a wargame. And I'm not just talking infantry and cavalry here. Folks have created elephants, chariots, and even camels! And the best part is, you don't have to wait for some manufacturer to scuplt and mold the exact figures in the exact pose at the right scale for you. You can just go out and make the figure very easily yourself!

I and some of my fellow Craftee enthusiasts will periodically post tutorials, helpful hints, games, and other information about these little fellows with the hopes of putting you on the easiest path for making your own Craftees.

So free up your mind, let yourself go, and have fun making these little gems.
